Labor Day, September 1st       “A Day at the Park” Come this Labor Day from 11-4pm to join Skate Legion and Truth Youth Group hang out with the neighborhood. “A Day at the Park” is located at 147th and Sunnyside Road…(right behind Albertsons). We will be setting up our ramps to skate all day and to just enjoy the last weekend before school starts. Come for Food, Fun, and Fellowship. Pastor Alpha will be sharing the Gospel and Greg from Skate Legion will share his story about Skate Legion. Skate Team Bios       Check out our new Skate Team Bios! Portland Pusher # 10 – “Final Race” Portland Pusher returns! The date is set- Aug. 10th will be the last race in the series. The Cup will be retired and a final Champion will be decided. This race will feature the longest and most difficult course of the series (more than 15 miles!). It will be a true test of skill, endurance, ability and determination. Race starts at 9:30am at Laurelhurst Park Rain or Shine!!!!! See pictures from the event. Paranoid Park Launching soon is Gus VanSants' latest movie, Paranoid Park. Filmed in Oregon and staring Gabe Nevins a long time Skate Legion customer. Paranoid park is a based on Blake Nelsons dark coming of age tale. Tons of skating at Burnside and other Portland hot spots. Look for Gabe wearing Skate Legion apparel.
